Reigen is ecstatic and accepts the offer, but this was all a trap set by Jodo Kirin, the president of the Rising Sun Spiritual Union. Jodo corners him during the live filming of the show and the fact that Reigen is a fraud comes to light. Reigen gets bashed from all sides and ends up having to hold a press conference...

One day while he's having fun with them, he gets a call from Reigen, spoiling his fun. Mob asks Reigen to stop summoning him so suddenly, and Reigen just handles the situation in his usual overbearing manner. And because of something very minor, a gap forms between them. Reigen is forced to go on jobs without Mob, forcing him to reexamine himself.
