This episode dedicates to Mei from Seimei high and Azuma from Muroe High. Mei joined Seimei High's Kendo club to get along with her friends, but many of her friends quit the club as they couldn't take the sensei's strict training. They gear up for the practice match with Muroe High, she had set her mind to quit after the practice match. Kōjiro found out that Azuma didn't want to join the kendo club as her results in examinations were bad. Not because she wasn't able to do it, but she made careless mistakes. Nevertheless, Kirino drags her to the practice match. The episode concludes with Seimei High's Kendo team training against Muroe High's Kendo team.

Ichika becomes the heroine of the independent film the gang were planning before summer break. Kaito agrees, while helping Ichika look for that particular place she is looking for. Kanna becomes uneasy when the lines for the film becomes somewhat uncannily realistic, especially in the scenes involving Kaito and Ichika. Even Kaito was surprised by Ichika's questions that evening. As the next day was a rainy one and filming is cancelled, Kanna goes to Kaito's house to bring some nozawana. That evening, Tetsurō, after meeting an uneasy home-bound Kanna, sneaks into Kaito's room, and tells him that she, his childhood friend, is in love with him. Ichika overhears the conversation.

After a very awkward moment in Shido's class where Tohka tries switching genders in an effort to bunk with Shido, the class goes on a field trip to Arubi Island. During the entire trip, Origami and Tohka end up constantly annoying Shido in an effort to win his affections. Meanwhile DEM Industries, an organization with an interest in spirits begins stalking Tohka. Some time later, a massive hurricane appears out of nowhere while Shido and Tohka are on a stroll. Three trash cans strike Tohka, knocking her out in the process while two spirits viciously battle overhead. When Shido tries to intervene, the twin spirits Yuzuru and Kaguya decide that their next battle will be over winning Shido's heart to the latter's dismay. When the two girls follow Shido back to the class holding his arms, Origami becomes enraged over her new competition. As Shido's teacher tries to arrange the girls to be students in the class, Kaguya and Yuzuru explain that they were once one spirit named Yamai and that their contests are in an effort to find out whose personality will stay when the girls fuse and become Yamai once more. Later that day, an incident occurs when the twins drag Shido into the men's bath in an effort to sexually seduce him. Things get worse when Tohka shows up along with the rest of the class.

Hearing about the dilemma Shinbo offers Sumomo's services as navigator and generally being a source of common sense for Chii, in order for her to go and buy her own underwear. This sounds like a great idea at the time, but causes a seemingly infinite amount of worry during the day at prep school for Hideki.

Hideki is scared of a room in the apartment because of a horror story he heard at Minoru's house when he was asking about the internet through Minoru's custom-made Persocom Yuzuki. He becomes paranoid thinking about the story and, believing that his apartment building is haunted, has several self-induced hallucinations. The apartment number in the story is 104, as 4, or shi. "Shi" is the Japanese word for Four (四) and Death (死), and because of this, the number four is unlucky in Japan. According to the story, a woman who was hoping to rendezvous with her lover was killed in that room. Hideki and Chi along with Shinbo, Minoru and Yuzuki decide to investigate. At the end, Hideki and Chi discover that it is all a misunderstanding.

And she'll soon have a chance to prove herself, when a new threat is discovered, in the form of Rafe and Jessica. The two lovers are having a lot of fun! Killing families, using their blood to write obscenities and blasphemy on the wall - it's all good fun. That is, until their actions catch the eye of Hellsing, and particularly Arucard, who has no tolerance for the 'low-class' vampires. Seras' chance to prove herself becomes apparent when she's ordered to shoot Jessica, though she hesitates - Jessica's only a young girl. Would killing her make her any better, or make her worse than the monsters Hellsing hunts?
