Meanwhile, Constance's son Brandon is driving her crazy working at the store, so she pawns him off on Rudy.

Camille returns home to an ecstatic Zeek, but not everyone makes an appearance at her welcome home party. Joel continues to spend long hours at work and away from Julia. Hank spends time with Adam and confronts his problems, while Amber runs away from hers.

Once again Breanna's mother has come over for the holidays. This time she feels sick. Later on Flex's whole family comes over for Christmas, and Breanna's grandma discovers that Nicole is pregnant. Breanna overhears and tells Flex. At first their all happy about it thinking that it's a miracle, but when she takes a pregnancy test she realizes that there's no baby, but Breanna says that there's still a miracle because her parents are together for Christmas.

Flex struggles with being a 33-year-old rookie in the NBA. Breanna bumps heads with Nicole over her strict parenting style. Nicole says to get used to it because she's going to Nova Scotia. Breanna then tells all her friends goodbye and she and Arnaz share a goodbye kiss. Seeing how sad her daughter is Nicole decides to give up her dream job and stay in Baltimore. Meanwhile Flex gets fired as a basketball player because he doesen't put any heart into the game like all the other players do and he realizes that his heart belongs to Breanna instead. He comes back home and Nicole and Breanna have returned. Breanna says the Nicole is going to live in Flex's apartment with them until she gets a new job and apartment.

Arnaz and Spirit's parents have complete discipline and strict control over them, but not Breanna's. Breanna's dad completely trust her, and defends her. Breanna then decides to take this to her advantage and throw a rave at an old abandoned warehouse to raise enough money for a car. Unfortunately two teenagers mistake the rave to be at Breanna's house and Flex finds out. He then gets Spirit and Arnaz's parents to help him find their kids. Meanwhile at the rave the party gets a little wild and uncontrollable for Breanna to handle but then suddenly Method Man appears and calms down the crowd with his rap music. Arnaz's mother being the owner of the abandoned warehouse figures out where they are and Breanna gets busted. When they arrive home Flex realizes that he's too trustworthy. He tells Breanna that her little stunt made him realize that he has to be a father to her not her friend.

Moesha continues to help Dorian search for his birth mother. Hakeem thinks that Moesha shouldn't go digging up the past or she'll be faced with the possibility of a painful past. She assures Hakeem that she realizes the consequences but wants to continue the search for Dorian's sake. They notify a couple of women by the name of Barbara Lee. After tracking her down and learning that her actual name is Barbara Kennedy, Dorian becomes face-to-face with the woman who abandoned him. He learns that his mother also has a daughter, Reecy, and a son named Ray-Ray. When they all sit down and have a conversation, Barbara reveals some shocking news involving Moesha's mother, which Moesha can't accept. Angry and upset, Moesha leaves the apartment. Meanwhile, Frank is challenged to a race against Myles's friend's uncle. After winning the race, Frank's celebration is ruined when he learns that Moesha has been searching for Dorian's mother.

It's a trip down memory lane for Earl, Randy, Joy, Darnell and the Crab Shack regulars when they remember their fifteen minutes of fame watching a 2003 repeat of the TV show "Cops," which was filmed in Camden County.

When teenager Zoey goes through a mini-rebellion phase by pushing boundaries and acting out, Dre wants to lay down the law, while Bow insists on a softer approach like her mom did with her.

Meanwhile, Max makes a camping trip with Zeek extremely difficult. Julia throws a bachelorette party for Jasmine welcoming her to the Braverman tribe, while Adam gets more than he bargained for during a meeting with Crosby, shocking the entire family.

As J.D.'s relationship with Danni progresses, he and Dr. Cox are forced to spend more time together outside of the hospital, to Perry's great chagrin. Meanwhile, as they each deal with problems in their own relationships, Carla and Elliot work to find their own balance between their personal and professional relationships. Dr. Kelso accidentally punctures his eardrums giving the hospital staff an opportunity to tell him how they truly feel about him.

Elliot meets a nice guy at the bar, but freaks out when she finds out he's a male nurse at Sacred Heart. Turk keeps asking Carla to marry him, but she still won't give an answer. Dr. Cox feels the pressure he puts on himself everyday: His psychiatrist, his subordination to Dr. Kelso and his paternal feelings for J.D.

Elliot struggles to find her defining moment after Turk performs his first solo surgery. Dr. Cox deals with the reality of growing older when his back goes out. J.D. finds out that many of the hospital staff don't know the Janitor as he does.
