Kinji Tohyama is a student at Tokyo Butei High school, where special detectives known as Butei are trained to become mercenaries. Whilst riding his bike to school after missing the bus, Kinji is chased by a remoted controlled segway armed by an uzi, telling him that a bomb has been attached to his bike which will explode if he slows down, also threatening to shoot him if he jumps off. Kinji is saved a mysterious twintailed girl named Aria H Kanzaki. As the two end up pinned down in a gym storage locker as more segways appear, Aria fends them off, sticking her chest right in Kinji's face whilst doing so. The high blood pressure causes Kinji to enter his 'Hysteria Mode', where he manages to perfectly destroy the segways, as well as counter Aria's moves when she complains about him being a pervert. As Kinji finally arrives at school, he learns that Aria has become a transfer student in his class. Later that day, Aria comes to Kinji's house and declares him her slave.

Field trip has finished. Along the way back to Tokyo, someone had planted a bomb within the bullet train where Kinji and the gang are boarded. Not only the bomb will explode if the train's speed is decreased, but they must increase the speed by 10kph every 3 minutes or it will explode. Even worse, Riko had deduced that the culprit is also inside the train! This mission calls for Kinji, Aria, Riko, Shirayuki and the other Buteis present in the train to disarm the bomb and save the passenger. And they've only got 80 minutes until the bullet train reaches Tokyo.

Masako requests Naru investigate a park where over six months, couples have had water dumped over them from thin air. The team, excluding Lin, split up at Masako's suggestion into pairs and they soon attract the spirit of a woman. Taking possession of Masako's body, the woman explains she died soon after being cheated on by her boyfriend. Mai convinces her to let go and move on to heaven, but not until they have forced the cheating partner to acknowledge the hurt he caused.

Yokodera Youto is always thinking about his carnal desires, but no one acknowledges him as a pervert. He learns about a cat statue that supposedly grants wishes. The boy goes to pray that he will be able to express his lustful thoughts whenever and wherever he wants. At the statue, Youto encounters Tsutsukakushi Tsukiko, a girl from his high school with her own wish—that she would not display her real intentions so readily.

When Yasuko collapses from anemia due to overwork, Ryūji and Taiga take over her job of selling chocolate and use Ami's celebrity to improve sales.

With Christmas approaching, the student council plans a party while Taiga decides to curry favor with Santa by playing Cupid for Ryūji and Minori.

Louise tries to prevent Saito from looking at other girls, but her plan fails. The newly crowned Queen Henrietta assigns the code name 'Zero' to Louise for a mission. When they get home Louise insists she tell him about the misunderstanding that Agnes said. When he tried to explain she beat him until morning causing bruises all over his body. The next morning, Saito and Louise are informed that Henrietta has been kidnapped.

Saito and Louise are ordered to be at Scarron's inn to receive further instructions. They take their previous positions and costumes back, and are surprised by Gulio's appearance. Saito runs into Henrietta who asks him to protect her as she poses as a commoner in order to lure out one of her enemies. Saito and Henrietta evade detection from the soldiers searching for the Queen by behaving like sweethearts, while Louise learns of the details of the Queen's mission from Agnes. In a theater in town, while Scarron and his girls are in the middle of performing a play, Henrietta confronts her enemy.

Ruko finds herself in battle against Hitoe, and taps into a desire she has never felt before. Meanwhile, Yuzuki's battle ensues against Akira.

With Stresemann knocked out cold, Nodame "convinces" Chiaki to be substitute conductor for the special orchestra. Chiaki agrees and finds out that the group he's conducting is out of synch. As the rehearsal falls apart, Stresemann takes over and demonstrates everything that Chiaki failed to do. Stresemann finally accepts Chiaki as his student but tells him to remain a piano major. The piece performed in the episode is Symphony No. 7, Op. 92 by Ludwig van Beethoven.

Auditions are held for the Marlet Orchestra, with Paul and Kuroki being among the new members. After intense rehearsal, the Orchestra has another concert, and the time comes for Chiaki to show the results of his ad his musicians' efforts so far.

Chiaki decides to move to another apartment much to Nodame's despair and Rui tries her best to convince Auclair to have lessons with her, but he seems to be more much more interested in teaching Nodame instead. After hearing Nodame's smooth playing, she also starts to doubt herself. Pieces featured: Sonata K157 in C Major by Scarlatti, Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 in Eb Major by Chopin

Chiaki helps Rui for their concerto. When Nodame found out, she feels betrayed, and uses that feeling to help her master a piece. Pieces featured: Paris Symphony by Mozart, Third Movement of Piano Sonata No. 31 by Beethoven

Nodame has been absent from school and Chiaki starts looking desperately for her, just to find that she was rehearsing for a concerto with Stresseman in London. Pieces featured: Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11 by Chopin

While a sick Tsukasa is being treated by the younger Yōto, the young Tsukushi, along with Tsukiko, agrees to visit their mother once again after Yōto persuades them. At the mansion, the young Tsukushi and Tsukiko wear the clothes their mother made by hand. Knowing that their mother loved them, the young Tsukushi laments over wanting to have memories with her mother. The younger Yōto reprimands Tsukushi, but nonetheless, gives her his precious memories with Tsukasa for their sake by wishing to the cat god, resulting in the current Yōto forgetting all about meeting the Tsutsukakushis and Emi in the past. Meanwhile, Yōto and Tsukiko return to the present. After heading back to the mansion, Tsukushi decides on not going to Italy and afterwards, Yōto and Tsukiko share a kiss. Days later, Yōto, along with Tsukiko, Tsukushi, Azusa, Emi, and Mai have fun at an amusement park.
