Cavitus tries to thwart the penguins by getting them angry at each other and accusing them for things they didn't do. Soon everyone learns the importance of knowing all the facts before jumping to conclusions.

By the time they arrive at Rigel-13, Jason is a full-on sluggard. No sooner do they set out their picnic baskets, then they are set upon by giant 20 foot tall ants! Escape seems impossible. All clues point to Cavitus. Jason makes the discovery that the Ants are really Rangers, sent by Admiral Strap as a protection against one of Cavitus' schemes. They seemed to be attacking Jason & the Penguins, but were really just cleaning up the mess left from the picnic.

The planet has become lopsided and is in danger of being thrown off course. Midgel and Fidgel set aside their differences (momentarily) to work together to set the planet aright. Jason helps inform the Gutt citizens that moderation is the key, and that gluttony only leads to ruin.

Cavitus infiltrates the school in an attempt to defeat the Penguins. Naturally everything comes to a head, and Penguins learn a lesson that a joke isn't funny when it hurts somebody. Cavitus escapes and the Penguins learn that Bert the Hamster and Cavitus are one and the same!
