As the miners rush to solid ground before the ice vanishes, Mr. Gold outlasts the fleet to secure TOMCOD. Kris assembles a makeshift operation. Emily rolls the dice on one last dive and Vernon hightails it to land on dangerous ice.

With 72 hours left in the Bering Sea mining season, shifting ice cuts off access to Vern's diver under the ice; the Kellys hit a paystreak but are praying their repairs will hold up; Shawn hits bedrock and learns if his gamble paid off.

It's the final day of Bering Sea Gold's most difficult ice season, and Shawn makes one more epic dive to try and hit his goal. Young gun Chris races all-out for his biggest cleanup yet, and Vern relies on diver Gary to secure their ambitious summer plans.

The race for untapped gold in bottomless depths kicks off as Chris and newcomer Joe go to war over a contested spot. Vern deploys an untested crew and new Nitrox air system for their deepest dives yet. Mr. Gold attempts to access riches via inland gold.

After a week lost to stormy weather, the fleet scrambles to make up for lost time in innovative ways; Shawn employs a risky hydraulic blaster, Chris gambles on a rookie diver, and Joe pushes himself and his dive crew to dangerous levels.

Four crews rush to clean out the gold-rich Tomcod claim and an all-out gold war ensues. Meanwhile, Captain Emily Riedel and her new diver face a battle all their own.

A violent midsummer storm forces the fleet off the mining grounds. Shawn, Ken, Emily and Kris race to repair and improve their dredges for an end of season attack while reliving some of their most dangerous and triumphant moments on the Berinq Sea.

As a new Industrial Revolution sweeps Nome, the miners elevate their operations. A cracked spud may mean disaster for Shawn. Kris Kelly struggles with faulty equipment. Chris McCully has a blockbuster start, while Vernon buys an unorthodox dredge.

EDGE dredger John is out of the hospital and on the gold, but Zeke may lose it all when accused of claim jumping. Scott puts the crew at risk taking the dredge out during a storm. The DNR shuts the Pomrenkes down. "Hurricane Dave's" antics test Vernon.

Shawn moves in on Vernon's spot on Claim 56 as the two miners chase the same paystreak but only one will prevail.

Chris McCully pushes his fancy new equipment to the brink. Vernon and his rookie diver clash. A frozen regulator threatens Andy's life. Shawn casts a wide net to get his season going finally.

Birthday boy Shawn Pomrenke boldly moves back to Tomcod. Fed up with a faulty sluice box, the Kellys resurrect an old piece of equipment called The Coffin. Zeke finds a reef that could yield some great gold, and Chris McCully plans a marathon dive.

The dredging season is quickly coming to an end, and so are once trusted relationships between Zeke and Emily as well as Scott F and Ian. Shawn sends crewmember Robbi packing while Scott M swallows his pride and invites Steve back. But will he accept?

Big swells and bigger tempers take over the Bering Sea. Inexperience and equipment problems cause more than a few tantrums, while big swells and bad conditions make some miners lose their lunch.

Summer dredging season begins. The Pomrenkes have competition from a new megadredge crewed by Scott Meisterheim. Emily's first day as captain goes up in flames. Zeke has a run-in with the law. Steve R is first out, but his crew strands him on an iceberg.

Halfway through the summer season, tempers flare and the captains question their crews' loyalty. Shawn threatens to quit the family business. Kris comes to blows with Steve R. Emily rushes Shem to the ER. Hank reaches the end of his patience with Scott.

With two weeks left in the season, the window to mine gold is closing. Zeke’s experiment with a double length hose puts his brother in danger. The High Noon’s water heater suffers a lethal malfunction and tempers boil at the Wild Ranger.
