A gang of robbers attacks a post office on the outskirts of Rome. Two of them manage to escape, but the third accomplice is followed to track down the other members of the gang.

A man enters the police station armed and takes Nina and Roberto hostage. He claims to have been unfairly tried after being accused of stealing 370 million from the safe of the company where he worked.

A man reports that his neighbor might be a terrorist. Ardenzi instead discovers an illegal trade in pornographic material. Manrico accompanies Livia and Nina to do some shopping. As they leave the store, the three are ambushed.

At the police station everyone is shocked by the attack and Scalise and Ardenzi are accused of having acted lightly. At the hospital one of the attackers enters where Manrico is hospitalized with the intention of killing him, but Ardenzi intervenes.

Nina and Luca arrest a boy caught stealing a car radio. She releases him immediately after for no apparent reason, because she wants to track down the drug dealer who caused the death of her brother Davide, due to an overdose.

Linda has an affair with a married man. The lover, instead of leaving his wife, decides to kill Linda and has the gardener of the building accused. A witness informs the police via email so as not to reveal his identity.

Adriano, Luca's partner, finds work in a debt collection company, but soon discovers that his new colleagues are used to intimidation and violence to convince debtors to pay; so he decides to file a complaint with the police.

Faliero escapes from Regina Coeli prison and hides at the home of his lawyer who, among other things, is his lover. The two have planned to leave Italy to move to Venezuela, but Faliero intends to get rid of his partner before leaving.

The suicide attempt of an electronics warehouse manager, who got into debt through gambling, sheds light on a widespread loan sharking ring.

The police officers are called urgently by two cashiers who, after the supermarket closed, heard strange noises. Instead, they find a child alone and unidentified, who is finishing eating a jar of chocolate.

After a bank robbery, the robbers see Tiberio, Inspector Belli's father, and one of the criminals convinces his accomplices not to kill him. Tiberio tells his son that he recognized an ex-friend of his. Belli will try to convince him to turn himself in.

The police officers of the police district find themselves having to protect Natassia, a Yugoslavian girl, whose daughter has been kidnapped by two Albanians to force the woman into prostitution.

The statements of a mafioso accuse Commissioner Giovanna Scalise, but the agents of the tenth Tuscolano are convinced that the mafia wants to take revenge on her by trying to discredit her and they try to demonstrate the innocence of the commissioner.

After some shadowing, Parmesan and the other agents discover that the lawyer Loiacono, instead of meeting the men of the gang directly, uses an intermediary to receive orders from the mafia.

The investigation continues to track down the killers of the attack and Commissioner Scalise is discouraged. One of the killers is identified as a person who had been dead for two years. A lady who runs a bar is the victim of extortion.

Angela learns that Letizia, a woman who works with her at the clinic, has a violent husband who mistreats her and tries to convince the woman to file a complaint: initially Letizia does not accept her friend's help and cannot accept reality. Later, however, she changes her mind and decides to leave her husband.

The agents continue to follow Giulio Macri'. Giovanna contacts Nini, a colleague of hers from Palermo, who joins her in Rome and begins to collaborate with the police team. Her task will consist of trying to learn about all of Macri's illicit activities, to have the possibility of infiltrating and acting undisturbed in order to find Vinci.

Roberto reveals to Giovanna that Stasi is the one who betrayed her; for Giovanna it is a terrible blow and, at least at the beginning, she cannot believe it.

The mechanic Lorenzi gives two criminals the codes of the anti-theft devices he installs on cars on behalf of a dealership: he needs money to treat his wife who has a serious heart condition. A stolen car hits a girl in front of a homeless man. The rush to the hospital turns out to be useless, but Elisa, who is registered as a donor, can save another life. With her parents' consent, her heart is removed and fate has it that it is Lorenzi's wife, who has been waiting for years for a new heart, who is urgently summoned by the hospital for the transplant. Scalise, with Manrico and Luca, investigates what is now a manslaughter. The search for the car leads to a dealership that is the same one where Lorenzi works. Joined at the hospital by Scalise while they are operating on his wife, the mechanic confesses that it was he who gave her the codes of the stolen car that hit the girl.

Saro is the new bartender, replacing Paula at the bar near the District. Vito Tonnara teaches him how to shoot. At Scalise's house, her mother Caterina and daughter Livia talk about Giovanna's new love and decide to overcome their embarrassment by inviting Manrico to dinner. The new elite agent Valeria Ruggero arrives at the District. Ugo, who confides in Ingargiola his concern because he is behind on his mortgage payments, is fascinated by his new colleague, who is nice and capable, even if she seems a bit standoffish and presumptuous. A report of a mugging arrives, the attacker is on a scooter and is wearing a bib with the words Fast Boy written on it. Valeria is immediately assigned to work alongside Inspector Mauro Belli and Agent Vittoria to solve the case. Mauro has received another phone call from Paula, this time from Brazil, but has not been able to find out more about her mysterious behavior.

A couple is in crisis: he is a musician without a job, she is in crisis because of her husband's bankruptcy. The woman is convinced that her husband is stealing her jewelry and reports him to the district. Roberto takes care of this case and is shocked to discover that the thief is also his best friend. But one thing will surprise everyone: the thief and Roberto's best friend are two lookalikes. Meanwhile Angela and Roberto are preparing to celebrate their anniversary and have the same idea for the gift: they want to treat themselves to a car and both ask Mauro for advice. Tonnara, who has rented an apartment in front of Scalise's house, continues to spy on the commissioner's every move.

Two young people who, after buying a villa, later realize they have been scammed, ask the Police District for help.

Commissioner Scalise discovers that his child was drugged along with other classmates through some substances contained in ink tattoos that are applied with water.

The district agents organize a surveillance to protect Commissioner Scalise and his family from the mafia. The wife of the informer who accused Scalise of corruption asks them for help because her protection program has been revoked.

A friend of Paula's gives birth in the hospital, but later dies because she is not properly assisted. The police investigate without results. Paula continues to investigate secretly and thanks to a testimony she will be able to discover the truth.
