Krystle and Blake are stunned to learn the heart donor's mother, Sarah Curtis, has had second thoughts on allowing the surgery. Neil McVane carries out his promise of blackmail, as Adam receives a baby booty with his name sewn on it. This is evidence which McVane claims will prove Adam is not the Carrington baby that was kidnapped many years before. Dex, sympathizing with Sarah's plight, is able to use their friendship to persuade Sarah to give her permission for the surgery.
