To get out of debt with the lenders, Fermín sells his newborn daughter to Mauro. Paz, wanting to meet her baby, receives the worst news of her life. Esteban is enjoying a family vacation when an unexpected event changes his life.

With the help of artificial intelligence, Ginebra records a video posing as Berenice to kill Esteban. Esteban is about to be attacked on the street when Paz comes to his defense and they introduce themselves. Paz and Esteban tell each other the secrets of her past and he assures her that they will soon find the tranquility they long for.

Esteban confesses to Kenzo that he was impressed when he met Paz since she has something special and reveals that he wants to see her again. Before finishing off Elias, Ginebra confesses to him that Samara does not carry his blood since her real daughter died at birth. Paz accepts the job that Esteban proposed, he visits her at her house to talk to her about her responsibilities, but Fermín finds them together.

'Gorila' forces Samara to steal so that she can enjoy food now that she lives on the street. Geneva reveals to Mauro that she only feels hatred for Elvira, since she does not believe in her suffering. Esteban reveals to Paz that he is afraid that Elvira will take her children away from him, so she suggests putting together a plan so that doesn't happen. Samara begins to ask for money on a bridge and crosses paths with Paz, who is impressed by her upon meeting her.

Elvira shows Gala the video that Berenice left before she died where she recognizes that Esteban deceived her, since he was only by her side because of her money. Elvira finds another video of Berenice where she declares that her mother only became a burden in her life. Paz arrives at Geneva's house to inform her that she saw her daughter asking for money, she confronts Mauro for lying to her. Paz arrives at the prison to bring Esteban some food and to inform him that her children believe in her innocence.

Pedro Pablo reveals to Esteban that Bosco tried to harm him the day they organized the party at his house, he assures that he only wanted to take care of the belongings in the house. Ginebra records another video using artificial intelligence to impersonate Berenice and thus finish off Esteban and Elvira. Paz lives a very special moment with Luna, the little girl shares that she wishes she were her mother. Esteban questions Paz about the reason why she left work without telling him and asks her to trust him to vent.

Elvira bursts into tears when she reveals that before Berenice, she had a daughter about whom she knows nothing; Geneva calls Elvira the worst mother in the world. Ginebra confesses to Mauro that Esteban worried about her, he begs him not to ruin her plans. Fermín demands that Rubio no longer approach Paz Roble, Ginebra is surprised to hear her name and questions him if that woman is the mother of her daughter.

Paz makes it clear to Elvira that because she is an employee, she is not going to allow her disrespect. In revenge, she throws away the food and asks her to leave the kitchen clean. Elvira, upon learning more details about Geneva's life, does not hesitate to remember the day her father snatched her newborn daughter from her arms. Elvira loses control while having a few glasses of wine and assures Guinevere that she could be her daughter. Paz listens to Mauro's conversation where she gives orders about what they should do to Sam now that he gets her back.

Elvira warns Esteban that she will not accept that a servant becomes the stepmother of her grandchildren; he assures her that he will always defend Paz. While they sing the song that Paz wrote for her daughter, Luna manages to remember her mother's face. Ginebra manages to convince Esteban to be her ally to find the person who is trying to harm her integrity. Esteban gets upset with Ginebra after she stole a kiss from him, she assures him that he never imagined that he would make fun of a woman's feelings.

Fermín returns to Paz's life ready to win her back, he steals a kiss from her, but she slaps him. Samara is taken to a church where she is sworn that she will receive the necessary help, but her blanket escapes her and the situation becomes complicated. Mauro informs Geneva that he will no longer hear from Samara, she celebrates. Gala doesn't want to gain weight and to maintain her figure, she starts not eating.

Esteban receives the news that he has regained his freedom, Paz congratulates him and he does not hesitate to hug her. Nandy confesses to Mireya that she feels very grateful for the support that her family gave her when she was going through very difficult times. Elvira recognizes in front of her grandchildren that Esteban is innocent and assures that someone is causing them a lot of harm. Ginebra starts working at Elvira's company and upon seeing Berenice's photograph she swears that she is going to stay with Esteban, after she took everything that belonged to him.

Elvira thanks Geneva for all her attention and shares that it hurts her to no longer have a daughter. Elvira makes Esteban believe that Paz put a substance in the pastries she prepared, he complains to her about wanting to harm her family and informs him that she will have all the food analyzed. After Jero rejected Gala for not having the same followers, she kissed Salo and asked him to be her boyfriend. Geneva questions Esteban about the possibility of rebuilding her life, he assures her that Berenice is her only and greatest love.

Fermín contacts Paz to give her the address of where Sam is and asks her to be very careful. Monito saves Luna and asks her best friend to find a blanket as well as a doctor to help him with the injury she has. Peace having Sam in her arms, she asks him to trust her since he is not going to allow anything bad to happen to her; Mauro gives up after not finding his niece. Paz takes Luna to her house and assures her entire family that she is willing to take care of her and love her as if she were her daughter.

Paz does not allow any more humiliation from Bosco and confronts him, he reveals to his brothers that Paz almost kissed Esteban. Nandy opens her heart to Kenzo and confesses that she was born Fernando Galdeano, but now she is a trans woman. Mireya defends Salo from Elvira's humiliations; she offers him a large sum of money to keep him away from his granddaughter's life. Fobo gives Elvira the results of the DNA test and confirms that Ginebra is her daughter.

Esteban confesses to his friend Kenzo that what he feels for Paz is not a physical attraction, it is actually something deeper. While Lupita recognizes that Luna has a lot of energy, the little girl suffers an accident that puts Paz in a dilemma. Dr. Mónica Manzano identifies Luna as the girl that Ginebra is looking for. Ginebra imagines a romantic moment with Esteban, but she knows that she should not fall in love with her.

Ginebra, knowing that Esteban will not rest until he returns Rubio to prison, advises him to forget about the case since it will harm him, but more so his children. Elvira, upon finding out that Nandy will work in her company, runs her; Esteban and Kenzo come to her defense. Paz accepts in front of the doctor that she is not Luna's mother and assures her that she had to lie to protect the life of her youngest and hers. Paz informs Luna that they must separate since she has to return to her mother's side. Fermín puts together a plan to get the minor out of the hospital.

Paz accepts the money that Fermín offers him and confesses that he rescued little Luna, he asks to meet her. Luna dreams that her friend Monito is in danger, so she decides to leave Paz's house to rescue him. Elvira invites Geneva to eat and takes the opportunity to take a saliva test to confirm if she carries her blood. Paz proposes to her sister to win Mauro's heart so she can learn about the plans she has against Sam.

Fermín surprises Luna with some gifts and assures Lupita that the little girl Paz rescued could be her daughter. Esteban confronts Elvira and assures her that if Salomón has good intentions with Gala, he is willing to support her courtship. Elvira receives a call where they ask for five million pesos; if she refuses, society will find out that she had a daughter before Berenice. Some hooded men enter Ginebra's house to steal everything from her, Esteban protects her from the thugs.

Paz gets nervous when Esteban takes her hands and confesses that he wants to live again, he agrees with her feelings. Esteban arrives at prison ready to meet the criminal who destroyed his family, Rubio accepts what he did to Berenice. Ginebra and Mauro celebrate that their plans against Elvira's family are working out just as they thought and they are sure that they will never discover that they are behind Berenice's death. Esteban talks to Salo about her romance with Gala and demands that he respect her since her daughter is no trophy.

Fermín manages to get Luna out of the hospital without the authorities discovering him, Paz is already waiting for him in the taxi to take the minor. Kenzo blames Filipa for her children hating him, so he warns her that she will fight for custody of them. After doing a live broadcast, Gala begins to receive messages about her weight, she questions her friend if she looks fat. Ginebra meets with the mothers who have missing children, she bursts into tears confessing that she is sure that her daughter died.

Lupita gets upset with Paz when she finds out how Luna was taken from the hospital; she assures her that she will blame herself when the authorities find her whereabouts. Esteban opens his heart to Lupita and confesses that he is beginning to fall in love with Paz, so he wants to talk to her to find out her feelings. Nandy can no longer hide her feelings from her and she reveals to Kenzo that she is in love with him. Esteban confesses to Paz that they both deserve to live, so she can't leave without giving him a kiss.

Paz is determined to face any obstacle that may arise now that she has agreed to be Esteban's partner. Gala reveals to Esteban that Rubio not only hurt her mother, he also messed with Paz, she confirms that that man sent her to the hospital. Ginebra is willing to give her all the money Filipa needs in exchange for her helping her in her money laundering business. Fermín assures Paz that her daughter will soon be at her side, she reveals that she imagines that Luna is the daughter they lost.

Lupita complains to Mireya for having gone to a hotel with Mauro, she reveals that she is willing to help her sister Paz. Esteban arrives at the house where he grew up to meet his father. Porfirio, upon seeing him, is filled with hatred and chases him away. He confesses to Paz that his cousin Humberto stole his land and the affection of the man who gave him life. Filipa forbids Nandy from entering the women's bathroom, Kenzo comes to her defense and suggests that Elvira take an inclusion course for all the company's workers. Esteban is eager to give Paz a kiss, but she asks him to be discreet; Elvira surprises them in the kitchen.

Ginebra arrives at Esteban's house to give Gala, Bosco and Eder some gifts, they are impressed with the details. Gala gets upset with her grandmother when she sees the way she refers to Paz and asks her to respect her. Mireya continues to help Paz, however, in her search to gather evidence she puts herself in danger when she is discovered by Mauro. Elvira gets upset with Esteban for having left the company without telling her and asks Paz for an explanation for leaving with him.

Ginebra listens to Paz's conversation and questions her if the girl they found is her daughter. Gema thanks her aunt for all the support she is giving her so that Salo's family business remains closed, Lupita begs her for a little compassion. Ginebra confesses to Mauro that she will never forgive Berenice for growing up surrounded by luxury and with a family, while she suffered on the street. Upon confirming that Paz is in a relationship with Esteban, Ginebra warns Filipa that she plans to destroy her new enemy.
