“Germany’s Next Top Model – by Heidi Klum” starts with an innovation: for the 19th season, world star Heidi Klum is calling all of Germany to Berlin for an open casting. It doesn't matter how tall or short, how heavy or light the applicants are, or what gender they identify with. The only condition is that you have to have celebrated your 18th birthday before filming begins. Who will advance one round and go on a big “Germany’s Next Top Model” journey?

Heidi Klum continues her search for “Germany’s Next Top Model” in the historic Wilhelm Hallen and has a very special guest at her side: French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier, who gives the young models valuable tips for the catwalk. Also a guest: German designer Jasmin Erbas, who will be providing the upcoming fashion show with her collections. Who will make it onto the catwalk?

It's Showtime! The third round of the open casting in Berlin promises not only glamor, but also a special surprise: the first fashion show in front of an audience is coming up - equipped by the German fashion designer Jasmin Erbas. Today there are two beauty jobs up for grabs. First of all, more than just batting your eyelashes is required to convince the Lashes customer. Then it's all about hugs and emotions when casting for a deodorant brand. Who lets the customer see inside themselves? During the spectacular monsoon shoot with photographer Rankin, the artificial weather goes crazy. Rain and wind? No problem for the models. Or is it?

The time has finally come – the big cover shoot is coming up! And everyone wants to go to Harper’s Bazaar. That's why it's time to step on the gas for what is probably the most important shoot of the season. Who has what it takes to be a cover star? During the exciting Action Walk the models have to keep their nerve and not look down! Because the catwalk is at dizzying heights. Who wants to aim high and convince Heidi Klum?

Creativity is key! Today the models are supposed to let their creativity run wild at a big casting for a sportswear manufacturer. The task? Create a style where the shoe is the hero. Who will be one step ahead and get the job? Hard work is rewarded: family and friends surprise the models in L.A.! The models can recharge their batteries with their loved ones so they can score points in the important shoot with Thomas Hayo and Kristian Schuller.

The models aim high. And definitely don't fly out so close to the finish line. During the helicopter shoot, you have to show strong nerves and impress photographer and guest juror Vijat Mohindra.
