Who will be Germany's next supermodel? 11,637 young women applied! Heidi Klum invites 32 of them to her first show, in which twelve candidates are ultimately selected for the race for “Germany’s Next Top Model”. Today Heidi Klum is taking her twelve girls to New York. There they watch, among other things, how the crème de la crème of top models - Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell and many more - prepare for the Victoria's Secret show and are also allowed to walk down the famous catwalk themselves.

Curious, they open Heidi Klum's letter: “Dear girls, I hope you have recovered a little and are fit for a long journey. I have already prepared a lot for you and I am really looking forward to seeing you. In this episode there is a makeover of a slightly different kind: the girls become mannequins and are given bald heads. The models also receive a visit from a familiar surprise guest who gives them valuable tips!

Germany's Next Top Model is not a show for the faint of heart. The girls now have to prove this during the makeover. Long hair becomes short and some even get extensions. But not everyone likes the change...

Eleven candidates are still in the running for the title. This episode is about real jobs and they are tough. Only the best are allowed to walk at a ready-to-wear show in Paris. During the shoot, our models become ice princesses.
