His first job as vice president is to investigate the influence of the popular online game "Phantasy Star Online 2" on the students' studies... Itsuki is bewildered as he enters the world of PSO2 with no knowledge of the new bonds or stories that will be born there..

Meanwhile, Suzuki Aika returns from abroad to join Itsuki's class. Aika develops an interest in Itsuki and follows him, causing all kinds of problems. To blow off steam from the real world, Itsuki loses himself in PSO2. However, his coach and veteran player SORO reprimands him for paying too little attention to his surroundings. Unable to understand why he was scolded, Itsuki distances himself from PSO2 for a while, but his friend and PSO2 player Kayano Kota explains to him the truth behind SORO's words.

Once he finishes studying, he can finally take a dip in the outdoor bath, but someone unexpected appears there.

Itsuki retreats for the moment to return to Seiga Academy. While asking himself what he can do, he heads to the student council room. The student council members are agitated by their president's absence, and they ask Itsuki where she is. Rina's desire is for the school festival to succeed. He doesn't want to disappoint her when she returns. With those thoughts in his heart, Itsuki begs the student council members for help, promising that he will bring Rina back.
