Pete finds Charlotte bloodied and bruised in the halls of the hospital, but only Addison learns the full extent of her injuries.

Maya and her unborn baby are fighting for their lives on the operating table, and Addison, Amelia and Fife try everything humanly possible to save them. Meanwhile, Sam operates on an incoming crash victim and later makes a grim discovery; Cooper makes an ill-timed but valiant effort with Charlotte, and the staff’s world gets rocked by an unexpected death.

The Seaside Wellness group stages an intervention for a defensive and volatile Amelia, who has resurfaced after disappearing on a 12-day drug binge with her boyfriend, Ryan. During the intervention, Amelia mercilessly attacks her friends one-by-one, and Addison, in particular, has trouble seeing her sister-in-law in her present condition.

When Pete discovers Violet clinging to live following a violent attack from a patient, he rushes her to the hospital where Addison and Naomi work together to save her life. Meanwhile, the location of Violet's baby are still unknown.

Addison and Sam go for a hike in Malibu, they come across an expecting couple trapped in their car after an accident, they then perform urgent field care. Charlotte, Cooper and Violet treat a newlywed who, on his wedding night has taken too much Viagra. Pete and Sheldon go out to a bar together and end up falling for the same girl.

During a dark moment in his life, Sheldon finds happiness with a new woman. Meanwhile, he becomes increasingly suspicious about his patient Nick's involvement in Sarah's disappearance.

When Amelia goes into labor, the Seaside doctors - even those she pushed away -- come to her side as she faces the hardest decision of her life. Meanwhile, after Pete finds himself in life-changing trouble, he and Violet realize what they mean to one another, and Addison is faced with a choice.

As Violoet chooses between Pete and Sheldon, she must also deal wtih a grief-stricken patient. Meanwhile, Dell worries about his daughter when Heather returns to town and Naomi debates moving to Pacific Wellcare.

An explosion at Dell's house lands Betsey and Heather in the hospital. everyone is pushed to the limit in trying to save their lives. The tensions between Addison and The Captain rise even more when her mother, Bizzy, shows up and a shocking family secret is revealed.

After Violet files for joint custody of Lucas, an embittered Pete voraciously fights back by hiring a tough attorney for the trial, forcing their fellow friends and co-workers to choose sides and have their personal lives dragged onto the stand and into the public eye.

Charlotte suffers in silence after the assault; Addison tries to keep that night's events a secret.

Charlotte's attacker, Lee Henry, arrives at St. Ambrose Hospital, injured by his girlfriend and in need of urgent care, and Sam and Charlotte must decide whether or not to save his life. Meanwhile, Susan's health takes a turn for the worse, and Addison's mother, Bizzy, begs her daughter to do everything in her power to help.

Amelia makes the hard decision to enter a rehab facility, and finds strength through an 18 year-old girl, as they both go through the painful detox process. Meanwhile, Cooper’s strengthening bond with his son is tested by his allegiance to a patient in need, Pete and Violet’s marriage reaches a tipping point, and Addison collapses from her rigorous fertility treatments.

Cooper and Charlotte take Erica to Seattle Grace to meet with Derek, Lexie and Amelia regarding a very risky surgery; Scott tells Violet that he would like to take their relationship to the next level; and Addison finds herself caught in the middle of Sam and Jake's fight about a patient. Meanwhile, Sheldon warns Sam to be cautious as he deals with the return of his sister, Corinne.

Naomi returns to stand by Addison’s side on her wedding day, Cooper struggles with the hardships of being a stay-at-home father, and Violet begins a new project close to her heart, on the Series Finale of “Private Practice

Miranda Bailey brings a kidney transplant patient to Los Angeles, and Addison and especially Sam is pleased to see her. Addison's consequences of her emotional affair with Noah catch up with her. Sheldon and Pete finally discover who the father of Violet's baby.

Sam and Addison disagree over the treatment of a comatose patient who becomes pregnant; Charlotte and Pete face an ethical dilemma when a patient with HIV is in a serious car accident.

The fate of Oceanside Wellness is on the line as the doctors decide if it's time to dissolve the practice. Addison's new admirer makes an enticing offer and things hit close to home for Charlotte with her latest case.

As Erica's condition worsens, Cooper and Charlotte try to prepare Mason, who's in denial, for the worst; Violet and Pete find that they still have feelings for each other; Addison encourages Amelia to embrace her impending motherhood; and Sheldon and Jake treat a pregnant woman who was jailed for killing her other two children.

Charlotte continues to run the hospital from her bed; Mason starts acting out in school.

Addison attends Henry’s court date and realizes that the judge still has some concerns about Jake’s past, Sheldon introduces Miranda to his friends, and Cooper’s efforts to secure a dream house are put on hold when Charlotte goes into labor.

With her relationship with Kevin on the rocks, Addison finds herself attracted to Wyatt. Violet looks for a way to have a relationship with both Pete and Sheldon. Meanwhile, Cooper and Charlotte become closer after a family emergency.

Violet discovers she's pregnant, but is unsure which of the men in her life is the father of the child. Addison deals with her guilt for kissing Wyatt. Meanwhile, Charlotte proposes to Cooper.

Derek asks Addison to work with his pregnant patient while Archer recuperates from surgery; Bailey and Naomi work together to find the cause of Sam's sudden asthma attack; Cooper, Violet and Pete treat a woman with postpartum depression.

Katie Kent is apprehended and on trial. Violet is asked to testify against her attacker, but she struggles with whether or not she can face her attacker in court. Meanwhile a serious complication threatens the fetuses of two of Naomi's former patients and Charlotte is determined to convince Addison, Sam and Cooper to let her join Oceanside Wellness Group.
