Ebiko visits the aquarium shop to tell Mizunuma how she feels, but she becomes nervous and acts suspiciously. She tells Mizunuma that she rejected Taijima's confession, and then impulsively blurts out, "I love the manager!" and storms out of the store. When she runs home, she finds that the shrimp in the tank are not moving at all. Worried, Ebiko rushes back to Mizunuma...
