Stella is fed up with her appearance. Attempting to glam herself up, she has a bit of fun in daughter Emma's bedroom, trying on her clothes and playing with make-up. But the fun comes to an abrupt halt when she makes a startling discovery.

Stella ends up reacting badly to Emma's news, which causes a rift between them.

After a local legend called 'Dick the Kick' passes away, Stella attempts to help Paula throw the funeral of the century for him.

Stella is pleased when her eldest son, Luke, returns home. Before long though he's in with the wrong crowd, leading to tensions with Sean.

Episode Four

Stella starts a fitness drive in the build-up to her date with Sean. After Dai goes missing though she is soon distracted. There is a surprise for Luke.

Episode Five

While Stella looks like the cat that got the cream following her night with Sean, Emma hears a worrying rumour about Sunil. Luke has something on his mind too.

Episode Six

Luke has a 25th birthday party, but his mind is elsewhere having met with his estranged father. While dad Rob is eager to make up for lost time, Luke is unsure whether he wants to get to know him. Meanwhile, Stella and Sean step into the boxing ring, where a practical joke leads to a close shave when Sean receives a killer blow.

Episode Seven

The weekend of the stag and hen parties arrives, and while the girls head for a hotel and spa break, Dai saves the boys from a Grease-themed event by taking them camping in Brecon. However, Stella is devastated when she hears Luke is considering moving to Canada to live with dad Rob.

Episode Eight

As Stella deals with the news that Luke is going to leave, Emma goes into labour at school, leading Stella and Rob to grow closer when they come to her rescue.

Ruth Jones's hit comedy drama concludes as Luke prepares to move to Canada, while Stella must decide between Sean and Rob. Who will she choose? Last in current series.

Episode Ten

Stella and Sean are preparing for their new arrival, while Emma is settling into married life with Sunil. But domestic bliss looks like being short-lived for both mother and daughter when Rob's business dealings bring him back to Pontyberry and Sunil enrols at medical school - and soon takes to the boozy student life. Meanwhile, Dai begins working at the funeral home with wife Paula, causing untold problems for the couple.

Luckily for the troubled residents of Pontyberry, help is at hand in the shape of Dutch life coach Peschman , who has some wise words of guidance and a unique form of therapy.

Stella and Paula try to stay out of trouble, but when Rob goes on a romantic date and Paula samples life as a sober singleton, both ladies end up in a muddle.

Michael asks Stella to go with him to a gala dinner. Emma grows closer to Marcus.

Although well-acquainted with Michael between the sheets, Stella starts to wonder how serious things really are between them.

Ben is suspended from school. Luke, meanwhile, is let go by the police but can't escape the suspicions of those around him.

Proud parents Luke and Zoe get the ball rolling on their wedding plans.

With a fresh start in Chichester on the cards, will Michael see the error of his ways before it's too late?

Just when you thought Stella's house couldn't possibly get more crowded, Michael decides to base the office for his go-it-alone solicitors' firm there.

Stella worries about Michael, who is acting out of character, while Aunty Brenda and the newly flush Dai lock horns during a fraught business meeting.

Trouble looms for Stella and Michael when the latter makes a monumental mistake. Big Alan, meanwhile meets his match, and Dai organises a poker game.

Katie's small birthday lunch spirals out of control, culminating in a shock revelation for Stella. Pressure mounts on Luke to find some extra cash, too. 

 Stella is ready to make amends with Michael, until, that is, she uncovers more secrets and lies. Elsewhere in Pontyberry, Dai Davies hits the campaign trail. 

While Stella struggles to move on from Michael, Celia receives a blast from the past. Aunty Brenda's political campaign hits an unexpected snag, too.

Stella is overjoyed when sister-in-law and best friend Paula makes a surprise return to Pontyberry. Elsewhere, Big Alan worries about Celia and ex-husband Dan.

It is election day and Aunty Brenda can taste victory until a slimy new rival decides to enter the race. Ben and Lily go on a disastrous date.

Arrangements for Alan and Celia's wedding are in full flow as friends and family come together for their stag and hen dos. Zoe learns about Luke's debts.
