Whether or not they were winners, both the Riveras and the Laymons were the recipients of up to $27,000 in room renovations courtesy of their Home Free competitors. The first round featured a $2,000 bedroom renovation, the second a $5,000 living room redesign, and in the third, new appliances and other niceties resulted in kitchen makeovers valued at up to $20,000. They think their trying out for a regular Trading Spaces episode (which is odd- TS was just there late last season.)
