Maddalena gets a job and Chicco becomes a stay-at-home dad. Sandra gets engaged and Sofia is arrested, Giovanni is with a conspiracy theorist and Annamaria faces a vice and a new neighbor. Carlo receives an unexpected offer. Will he accept?

Having accepted the artistic direction of the Festival, Carlo calls Thomas, an expert organizer, who warns him of the difficulties. Worried, Carlo goes to his nephew's baptism, but Maddalena does not arrive in time, causing a family crisis.

Chicco and Maddalena are in crisis. He lives with Carlo with the baby, while she is busy with work and is getting closer to Diego. Carlo hires Eva, a babysitter that everyone likes, maybe too much by Chicco. He discovers the talent of Lucio Corsi for Sanremo.

Chicco celebrates his new job, but the joy is short-lived. Meanwhile, Maccio, in the midst of an identity crisis, believes he is a starred chef and forces Carlo to an embarrassing dinner. Carlo will then find himself having to face Gianna Nannini.

Maccio is unmanageable without psychotropic drugs. During a radio interview, Carlo chooses Ema Stokholma as co-host. Things seem to be going better but his private life is complicated: he breaks up with Sofia after a party, and Eva discovers Annamaria's secret.

Carlo wants to live his life as he wishes. After the success of his book he meets an adventurous writer, Sofia. While helping Chicco win back Maddalena, he tries to make a new film with the singer Sangiovanni.

Carlo faces a chaotic day between preparations for the film, conflicts with Sangiovanni, Ludovica's decision to leave the film and the news of the admiral's death, then seeking comfort at the spa with Annamaria.

Carlo proposes the script to Ludovica Martino, but she is reluctant to act with Sangiovanni. During a night swim in the sea Carlo and Sofia are robbed. When Carlo returns home he discovers that Chicco is in the hospital.

Carlo is haunted by criminal threats and meets a new butler, Nosferatu. Carlo tries to shoot a kiss scene between the two lead actors, which ends badly. Maddalena brings Chicco home from the hospital, Nosferatu spies on them.

Before the filming of "Maria F.", Carlo is overwhelmed by intense emotions, while Fabio Traversa apologizes before revealing himself as the author of the threats suffered by Carlo, leading to a growing tension and a final celebration among friends.

Carlo offers Max a role in his film. Carlo tries to support his children, while family tensions emerge. Sangiovanni is hesitant about his involvement in the film. Carlo and Sofia chat pleasantly and begin a relationship.

After Ludovica leaves, Carlo faces disastrous casting tests and an eccentric motivator. However, thanks to the inspiration of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Carlo finds the strength to overcome the challenges and continue the film project.

Carlo rediscovers his passion for cinema thanks to a new actress and the surrounding enthusiasm, while family dynamics evolve and a flying experience with Sofia leads to an inner liberation.

Carlo is on his first day of shooting and discovers that Sangiovanni has also abandoned the film. Between anxiety, panic attacks and the early birth of his daughter, the day turns into an experience of reflection and acceptance of life.

Cantalupo suggests to Carlo to organize a "team building" in Fregene to strengthen the harmony between the actors. During the stay, Ludovica and Sangiovanni experience nightly tensions, Sangiovanni runs away and finds refuge with Maria de Filippi.

Rome needs a mayor who knows this city inside and out. Someone who loves it as the Romans love it. ...And who better than Carlo Verdone? When Signoretti, the president of the Lazio Region, asks Verdone to run for mayor the actor promises to think about it, but due to a series of coincidences the news reaches Roberto D'Agostino's ears - which makes it dramatically public.

Rosa, Carlo's press officer, tries to deny the rumors that he is running for mayor. When the party, however, publishes a tweet in which he announces his candidacy and the news becomes public. Doubtful about what to do, during one of his usual nocturnal walks Carlo meets Alessandro Haber who, in the grip of alcohol fumes, brings him back to the most important theme: art.

At the exhibition of his friend Antonello Venditti, Carlo argues with his son Giovanni who accuses him of not being able to say NO to anyone. In fact, Carlo not only can't decide on the candidacy for mayor, but he can't even get rid of Chicco, his daughter's boyfriend, and put a stop to Erminia, a terminally ill who persecutes him with messages and phone calls.

Carlo and Max want to go to the stadium to watch the Roma match but on the way the driver argues on the phone with his lover and crashes into some dumpsters. Carlo and Max are forced to follow the game from the hospital as they try to clear themselves with the police, who, pursued by the suspected victim, suspect they were the ones who caused the accident.

Carlo's first appointment with the pharmacist Annalisa is disturbed by a girl looking for the morning-after pill. Carlo will recover the pill thanks to the help of Virgilio (Rocco Papaleo), finally managing to end his evening.
