The crew find an old abandoned peacekeeper ship adrift in space, on board they discover that Crais was there recently where he deposited a unit of techs to make repairs. Meanwhile Rygel learns that this was the ship where he was first held captive and starts getting paranoid. Things get even worse though when a group of fire breathing aliens show up.

A peacekeeper beacon goes off and Moya has to land on an alien planet to prevent it's signal being intercepted and Moya being discovered. Crichton, D'Argo and Aeryn leave Moya and explore the planet in search of a substance that can be used to numb Moya's senses so the beacon can be removed. Crichton gets separated from the group and meets up with some inhabitants of the planet who hide him from the authorities.

During routine searches for Peacekeeper beacons, D'Argo falls down a chute, destroys a Peacekeeper shield and gets ejected into open space. After being rescued D'Argo starts to think that everyone on Moya are members of his family. Moya, meanwhile, starts to alter the environmental conditions inside the ship so that it is hardly habitable for the crew. .

Fran has to have her tonsils removed, so Maxwell puts C.C.'s reunion on hold to await the outcome of Fran's surgery.

Lilly decides to be a cheerleader with Miley in order to spend more time together, but they end up doing the opposite when Miley ends up being the team mascot. Meanwhile, in order to get some money from his father Robby Ray, Jackson willingly volunteers to unclog the sink for him. However, it's not as easy as he thinks.

Frustrated by Oliver's stage fright, Miley vents to her dad that she doesn't want to help him with their upcoming drama class performance anymore, which a dismayed Oliver accidentally overhears. Miley gets a taste of what Oliver goes through when Hannah Montana forgets the words to the National Anthem while singing at a Lakers game. When Fran catches Maggie smoking, she herself pretends to smoke so that Mr. Sheffield can teach her a lesson in front of Maggie. But Mr. Sheffield overreacts so Fran leaves their home. Mr. Sheffield remembers all the great times together (seen as flashbacks), but eventually realizes what she was trying to do and wants her back.

A director plans to sabotage his production of "Romeo and Juliet" by casting Fran in the lead role.

Feeling that taking care of the kids has taken over her life and eliminated her personal life, Fran thinks about moving out of the mansion. But the real push is given by Mr. Sheffield who assures her she can't do it. So Fran and Val move in together to a very small apartment in a building full of gay men. Fran misses the mansion but doesn't want to give Mr. Sheffield the pleasure of being right. What she doesn't know is that he is also dying for her to come back. So they secretly ask for Sylvia's help, and Fran finally moves back to the mansion.

When Sylvia decides to have plastic surgery on her arms, the doctor tells her it's normal at a certain age for body parts to grow. Fran's feet modeling agency reunion is coming up, and Fran starts to freak out about her age and the fact that her feet have gone up a whole size. Luckily, she has Mr. Sheffield, who volunteers to escort her to the reunion.
