The blue dragon warrior, who experienced a voice telling him to protect Hiryuu when he touched Yona, while recognizing Ki-Ja as the white dragon, is dazed and escapes into the caves. Yona and Yun enter the caves, leaving Hak and Ki-Ja behind to deal with the villagers. They find the agitated blue dragon warrior, and Yona calmly asks him to be her ally. The blue dragon warrior tells her to leave, and they return to Ki-Ja who is holding back the hostile villagers. An earthquake traps the villagers with Yona, Ki-Ja and Yun. A villager explains the curse, until the blue dragon warrior enters. Out of fear, the villager strikes the blue dragon warrior, knocking off his mask.

Yukio sets out to the school's Exorcist-only shop to stock on some supplies along with Rin. There they find that the owner's daughter, Shiemi Moriyama, is being afflicted by a demon that dwells in her family's garden and, to save her life, they confront it by themselves.

The Orbital Knights rally under Princess Asseylum’s new proclamation with renewed determination. Slaine launches a new operation, partly to contain the factions who are against him. Elsewhere, Capt. Magbaredge, who has been summoned by senior UFE officials, realizes just what they think of the Deucalion. There, she receives orders for a new mission.

The UFE is overwhelmed by the Mars Knights’ advance. Inaho and the Deucalion take part in the fighting, but they find themselves hard pressed by an unexpected attack. Elsewhere, Slaine unburdens himself to Eddelrittuo. A Mars Knight who requested an audience with Princess Asseylum did so with an ulterior motive.

Ikta and his soldiers are sent to deliver supplies to the struggling imperial armies as the war continues. Unused to fighting in the high mountains, and led by incompetent leaders the imperial soldiers suffer heavy casualties. Ikta devises a brilliant stratagem to retake an enemy fortress, but when a messenger begs him for help in saving his allies, he's forced to choose between risking his own soldiers life, and bringing another imperial force to certain doom.

As Lupin attempts to woo Fujiko, she tells him about a jewel peacock at the bottom of a pyramid in Egypt. Meanwhile, Jigen, who is short on cash after being scammed, goes on a search for the peacock as well. Jigen soon finds himself fighting against not only Lupin, but the various traps set up by looters. After both Lupin and Jigen fall into a trap together, Fujiko appears revealing the peacock will appear if one of them dies in the trap. However, they both manage to escape by sacrificing some scorpions. The peacock reveals itself, but Fujiko is forced to give it up in order to escape from the pyramid.

Gai and Kiko get hired by a widow and are asked to find the widow's lost black cat. While trying to find the cat, they meet Hei, who is looking for the Contractor that is killing employers from that same company. As both Gai and Kiko continue to look, Gai comes across the skeleton of a woman who has been dead for a while.

As Gai investigates the murder of Toshiko he is attacked by the mind switching contractor, who wants his jacket back. Mao makes an attempt to steal the jacket and take off with it by switching bodies with a crow. He fails and must revert back to the cat body. Things don't look good for Mao when the contractor realizes who he is. Now Mao's life hangs in the balance, can hei get there in time to save him and kill the contractor?

Hei, Yin, and Mao are targeted by a group of contractors and now must fight to survive. Things become problematic when Yin goes missing. Now Hei and Moa must find her before the enemy does, but things change when Yin's old piano teacher gets Gai and Kiko to find Yin for him. The race is on to find Yin, but who will get to her first?
