With Spencer, Grace, Dillon and Darnell reeling from the news about why Corey may have left, they set out on a mission to find him. After locating Corey and trying to convince him to go home with them, the weekend turns out to be just what everyone needed. In an effort to keep fighting for the family to be whole again, Billy arranges for the family to meet with a family therapist and possibly help decide on the next step for them. During the session, the therapist gives Jordan and Olivia a separate assignment, which helps them learn more about each other than either knew.

Things in Spencer's life seem to be going right, but everything changes when Billy learns what he has been keeping from him; Jordan and Asher get some unexpected news.

Meanwhile, Layla clashes with her father over a decision she made about Keating Records, Olivia contends with success behind a pseudonym, Preach gets a surprise visit from Amina and Asher receives some life changing news. Despite how the day begins, no one is prepared for how it ends.

Spencer suffers a devastating setback and gets strength from an unlikely source. Billy, while focused on the championship game, realizes that he has to face some tough truths in order to get his family back.

At a college recruiting event, Spencer’s former teammates from Crenshaw show up, which causes Spencer to lose focus. Olivia comes to Asher’s aid, while Jordan struggles with the opportunities that comes with being Billy Baker’s son.

Spencer is worried Coop isn't taking everything seriously and asks Layla for her help. Olivia questions whether she did the right thing by going to Billy about Asher, leaving Billy to have to make a tough choice in order to protect his team. Coop is feeling smothered by everyone and makes a tough decision about her potential future. Meanwhile, Laura knows Jordan has a big heart but is concerned about his relationship with Simone.

Spencer decides to go to the family cabin to clear his head, but he gets a surprise visit from his friends; Billy shows up to the house to do a few repairs.

With Coop performing in Las Vegas, Spencer and some of the gang take a road trip to see her and Layla on tour. Spencer gets a little clarity on his feelings. Olivia notices that Jordan and Simone are acting suspicious.
