Wealthy London housewife Simeone Cooper has to return to her home town in Australia, where she is forced revisit the past and finally face up to the friends and family she left behind - who only ever knew her as Sammy.

Det. Sgt Fairbank makes another visit to the Cooper house to interrogate Jean and Jim. Bev looks to turn her life around before the impending birth of her baby and Chris strikes up a working relationship with a journalist.
