The Instant Star is chosen just as Jude is dealing with a personal crisis. The pictures that were taken at Barry's have resurfaced and he wants 50,000 dollars or they go to the press.

When Jude releases her photos herself she suffers some backlash and is forced to sit on Karma's first press conference.
