Meanwhile Kath is concerned that there is a dark secret at the heart of Kim and Brett's separation, one that even threatens her future with Kel.

After gambling and competitions fail to raise the much-needed cash, Kath organises a lingerie party with Kim and Sharon modelling the merchandise and serving hot suggestions. Kim discovers something she's really good at, internet chat rooms and online shopping with Kath's credit card. With the help of a modem, Kim is determined to meet the man of her dreams. When Kel stands Kath up one too many times, Kath is determined to move on without him. Meanwhile Brett's in the freezer while Kim plays ice maiden. Treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen is Kim's motto but Sharon puts an ice pick in the works.

Brett's got to be at Computacity Maribynong for the grand opening and misses Kim's labour. Kim gets a rude shock and everyone's past catches up with them.

With their fascinators on and Fleur De Lys Picolos in hand, Kath and Kim hit the races. They mingle with celebrities (C-list), while Sharon gets lucky with a very little racing identity. Brett has a reality check when he babysits lil' Eps. Meanwhile, Kel is up to his eyeballs in lamb flaps and honey soy drumettes.

Kim counts her chicken feet before they hatch as a family crisis takes Brett and Epponnee to the Gold Coast. Meanwhile, Kath feels that she and Kel have been too into each other - you know, physically - and they decide to spread their wings (socially that is).

Wedding preparations for Kath and Kel's big day are well underway. Kel puts his skills as a fine purveyor of meat to the test as he begins to design a commemorative sausage for the connubials. The future of the Sharon's netball team and three generations of family history are at stake when players drop out at the last minute. Can Kim drag her manicured nails off the couch to help her second best friend in need?

Although Kel is getting right up Kath's goat - literally - they find they still have some marital niggles to iron out. Brett has finally popped the ""R"" word and Kim's head is filled with nothing but silly putty.

Hooray! Sharon's got a date. Kim gives Sharon a major makeover and all fingers are crossed. All stops are out in a nail-biting sequence when Kath and Kel try to update their home theatre system (I mean it is almost three years old). Meanwhile, Brett gets on Kel's wick.

Kim has always seen herself in a cul-de-sac, but Brett has bigger plans. His exciting news means Kim has to pull her considerable weight financially. Ditto Kath, whose new career venture has her stimulated big time, and that is good for everyone. As per usual, Sharon drives everyone mad.

Look out peoples! Kimmy is bored. Brett is working forty eight hours straight, Sharon has a new best friend and Kath is in the roof looking for her vanity. Will Kimmy succumb and go to the stupid school reunion? If so what will she wear?

Like her wine time nuts, Kath's feelings are mixed at this late stage when Gary arrives back to stake his claim. Kel is hamstrung as Gary has Kath over a barrel. Meanwhile, Kim is loving herself sick as a new mum. She is blown away at how gross Epponnee's motor skills are. Ditto Brett.

To try and re-invigorate his marriage, Brett decides a romantic trip away to tropical Queensland could be just what is needed. Elsewhere, Kath is feeling flat and Sharon is accused of the greatest sporting crime of all.
