    Frank Riker, known around town as a tough cop who was forced out of the police department by political pressures: Not known to anybody is that he is still a cop, only now he is a free-wheeling, secret undercover operative reporting solely to the deputy attorney general Brice Landis, who used to be his partner on the force. In this episode, Riker finds himself involved with Massey, a crooked liquor distributor, when Marlene, the sister of Ed, a taproom owner, asks his help after her brother is threatened for refusing to accept delivery of stolen booze.
