Vikings and bikes: Stefan Kleiß has two great passions. For the members of his motorcycle club "Odins Vassals" a surprise is in store. In this episode, the reed trucker takes a small detour on his tour to meet up with his buddy "Zottel" in a parking lot. Meanwhile Andreas Schubert steers his black and red Scania R620 into the Rhön. The asphalt cowboy is to deliver a load of lumber in Hesse. And for Manuel Feigl, shoes become a problem when unloading heavy freight in Schleswig-Holstein.

Die Langhebelzugratsche

In Norway and on Mallorca, in the Ruhrpott and in Schleswig-Holstein, in East Westphalia and in Saxony-Anhalt: DMAX goes on a great journey with the kings of the Autobahn. From the radiator driver in Scandinavia to the thatched truck on its way to the next place of operation: everyday life on the roads and rest areas is no bed of roses for the protagonists of the series. Because in the transport industry, there is merciless competition. But despite time pressure, traffic jams, detours and traffic controls, the "Asphalt Cowboys" would never change their jobs. Cool trucks with airbrush design: Mario Bruns is proud of his trucks, because the 40-ton trucks are real eye-catchers. The freight forwarder is getting ready for a tour to Italy with his driver Uwe Rowold. But loading the vehicles turns out to be a real test of nerves. Meanwhile, Jens Lindner is on the road in local traffic. The Saxon "Asphalt Cowboy" delivers furniture parts to Rabenau. And Markus Trojak has turned his passion into his profession. In this episode, the bike fan from Rhineland-Palatinate meets the Harley of "Terminator" Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Majorca forwarding agent Dieter Lynen loads moving furniture into his 40-ton truck. The customer has the freight well packed. But the chipboard boxes cannot withstand a fall from the forklift. Meanwhile, Uwe Rowold and Mario Bruns are desperately looking for a parking space on their tour of Italy. Truck drivers regularly have to struggle with this dilemma, because the available parking spaces are permanently overcrowded. And Jens Lindner is looking forward to seeing his siblings again. The Saxon wants to combine his unloading appointment with a visit to his family.

Wild flowers and corn fields: Dieter Lynen is impressed by the vegetation on his Mallorca tour. The Rhinelander transports garden houses to the Balearic Islands. Painful memories come up in the driving cab. Meanwhile, Uwe Rowold begins the day with a "canister wash". The "Asphalt Cowboy" has been on the road in long-distance traffic for 40 years. But in Lombardy, Uwe meets a colleague with even more professional experience. And Daniel Schewe hopes for better times after a serious accident. The freight forwarder takes delivery of a new tractor.

A bed in a corn field

Out of the office: Dieter Lynen is rarely on the go as head of a forwarding agency. His 1500 kilometer long tour to Spain is a welcome change. But when unloading on the vacation island of Mallorca, a yucca palm tree causes discord. Meanwhile, in the mountains of South Tyrol, absolute concentration is required. There, wood driver Ronny Vötsch steers his truck over unpaved roads. And Sven Pittke sets off for Belgium with lava rock in his tipper. Sven's employer has specialized in the transport of volcanic raw materials.

The yucca palm tree

Emanuel Bock from Lower Saxony transports animal feed to farms in Northern Germany. The "Asphalt Cowboy" is mainly on the road in local traffic. For good reason, because Emanuel sleepwalks. A night in a truck on the highway could cost him his head. Ronny Vötsch must not allow himself to make a mistake either. The lumber driver shunts with his truck at the loading area in the mountains of South Tyrol at an altitude of 2000 meters, only a hand's breadth away from the slope. And Sven Pittke is getting on his last nerve with a screw in the cab of his truck.

Local control

Doing nothing is not his thing. Therefore Ronny Vötsch is glad that he can sit on the buck again after a wrist injury. The Austrian loads storm timber onto his truck with a crane in South Tyrol. Meanwhile Michel and Daniela Krämer set off for Scandinavia. The trucker couple is to deliver a load of fish in Oslo. And Ines Böttcher is heading for construction sites around Lake Constance with her dump truck. The single mother moved from Chemnitz to Switzerland 14 years ago. There she has built a new life for herself and her son Joey. (Text: DMAX)

Just the two of us

Long-distance racers instead of refrigerated trailers: "Asphalt Cowboy" Sven Julitz transports a Porsche as fast as an arrow to the 24-hour race on the Nürburgring. Charging the vehicle is a science in itself. Meanwhile, Daniela and Michel Krämer clean out their truck for a tour to Trondheim. The duo has christened its husky Scania S650 "Lucifer". And Ines Böttcher puts the tipper in reverse. But the access road at the construction site in St. Gallen is a tough one. There, the trucker lady punctures a hole in her tire while maneuvering.

Truck of a devil

A passionate truck driver: Arkadius Weindich has had enough of marriage after three divorces. He prefers to sit on the goat. The 42-year-old "Asphalt Cowboy" supplies carpentry businesses with his truck. Meanwhile, Michel and Daniela Krämer unload a load of Styrofoam in Trondheim, Norway. Then they take the ferry to Tromsø. And trucker lady Ines Böttcher fights her way through the big city traffic in Zurich with her tipper weighing tons. When the navigation system in the driver's cab gives up the ghost, an odyssey begins in Switzerland.

Against the wall

Michel and Daniela Kraemer make only slow progress behind a slow caravan on their tour to Torsvag. This causes annoyance at the steering wheel. And what does the trucker couple think of Norwegian reindeer soup? Meanwhile, Thorsten Eckert supplies a biogas plant with wooden beams. A job for a sniffing nose - which strains the "asphalt cowboy's" sense of smell. And Christina Scheib is caught up in the imponderables of the truck driver's everyday life on the trip to southern Italy. At the Austrian border, the toll equipment in the new Scania truck goes on strike.

All gold in the world

Sauerland instead of Rhön: Thorsten Eckert is actually a home sleeper, but in this episode the Franconian driver in North Rhine-Westphalia has to make do with a bed in the truck. The "Asphalt Cowboy" is supposed to transport storm-damaged wood in the forests there. Meanwhile, Christina Scheib is getting used to her new "driver's cab office" on the tour to southern Italy. The trucker lady from Tegernsee has recently set up her own business. And Sigi Reil transports containers with his Scania R500 in local traffic. The Bavarian has already made provisions for his old age.
